At Little Seeds RI, our mission is to nurture curiosity and creativity in young learners by providing thoughtfully curated sensory boxes, welcome-to-school kits, and engaging play experiences. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming and enriching environment where children can explore, play, and grow through hands-on learning.

Little Seeds RI also offers a soft play and sensory exploration space, Little Learners at Play. This space serves as a vibrant community hub, hosting events for Little Learners families and offering opportunities for open play, connection, and celebration.

After conducting thorough research, engaging in discussions with families, and consulting with experts across different Early Childhood domains, we have curated a welcome box aimed at enhancing your child's educational journey. Our objective is to equip every child with the necessary tools to ensure their safety, success, and preparedness for development and learning.

SEALED PLASTIC TOTE
All of your child's belongings will be stored in this sealed plastic tote and placed in their classroom to maintain cleanliness and separation from other children’s items. This practice reduces the potential spread of germs and organization of personal items.
TAG
During the busiest times; arrival and departure, it is important for whoever is picking up your child to locate their items quickly. These tags can be used to label your child’s backpack, lunchbox or car seat.
LABELS
Labeling serves as a convenient method for your child's teachers to identify items before distributing or using them. Labeling items is crucial in preventing the spread of germs. Please use these labels on all of your child’s personal items.
REUSABLE BAG
This reusable zipper bag will be used to store your child’s extra clothes OR to send home soiled clothes.
COT SLEEPER
Safe sleep regulations continue as your child grows. The cot sleeping bag included in your child’s box aligns with the health and safety regulations related to safe sleep in childcare settings. Your child’s cot sleeping bag is hypoallergenic and machine washable. The built in straps ensure it stays properly on your child’s cot.
SLEEVED BIB
The sleeved bib included in your box is waterproof and easy to clean. The elastic cuff helps to prevent a mess during exploratory or sensory play. This bib is used during messy play in your child’s classroom.
SILICONE BIB
Eating is an opportunity for your child’s brain to be stimulated by new tastes and sensations. It means that they are getting familiar with the different foods while building motor skills and increasing independence.
CRIB SHEET
Research proves the safest sleeping environment is a fitted sheet on a firm crib mattress. Due to the size of the portable crib in early childhood centers, your box includes a properly fitting sheet for your child.

The cup included in your child’s box aligns with all the information we have received from speech/language pathologists and pediatric dentists.
